General Dentist
Dr. Salma Abdu attended Western University, where she obtained an Honours Bachelors in Biochemistry in 2001, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005. Upon graduation, she furthered her education by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University Hospital in Cincinnatti, OH.
Dr. Abdu is committed to advanced continuing education by attending lectures throughout the US and Canada to stay up to date with the latest research findings and technology. She is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Dental Association, London and Districts Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and local study clubs. She works with a network of specialists to provide you with the best comprehensive oral care.
Dr. Abdu genuinely cares about her patients, knowing that the needs of the patients’ always come first, and every interaction is pleasant. You’ll appreciate her honest, open, friendly way of talking with you and listening to your concerns. She loves her work, and helping people maintain healthy smiles gives her tremendous satisfaction.
She practiced in various cities before moving back to London in 2012, where she now lives with her two sons. In her free time, she’s a proud soccer mom who loves traveling with her family and experimenting with new recipes and cuisines. She is fluent in English and Portuguese.
Dr. Lucia Ambrochi
General Dentist
Dr. Lucia Ambrochi graduated with a DDS degree from the University of Medicine,
Faculty of Dentistry, Moldova, Europe in 1993. In 2001 Dr. Ambrochi graduated from
the Qualifying Program in Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto and received her Ontario license to practice Dentistry. Since then, she enjoys working as a general dentist providing dental care to patients of all ages and teaching. She contributes to Dentistry in general by being part of several professional groups and supports local community and dentistry in multiple capacities.
As an active and sociable individual, she enjoys meeting people and staying fit. Long walks with friends and family through local trails continues to be the highlight of her summers.
Cooking with her family and friends is as great of the enjoyment as sharing those meals. Quiet times of reading can get changed to efforts of learning new languages; French and Portuguese is on her active list to conquer. She loves traveling and hopes with time to see
many beautiful places in the world. She speaks fluently in English, Romanian and
Russian.

Dental Hygenist
Jen graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Fanshawe College in 1992. After graduating from the Dental Hygiene program at St. Clair College in Windsor several years later, she returned to London to start her hygiene career. She settled in Old South many years ago and feels blessed to have raised her family in such a caring, vibrant community.
After 30 years in the dental profession, Jen can honestly say she still enjoys it as much as ever. Her goal is to provide a gentle, friendly, and informative dental visit, and she is always looking for ways to stay current and improve the quality of care. She enjoys the relationships she is able to build with patients and is grateful to be part of the wonderful dental team at Old South Dentistry, a team that goes the extra step that often changes care from adequate to truly exceptional.
Shaki
Dental Hygenist
Shaki is a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist at Old South Dentistry. With over 20 years of experience, she is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal oral health. She believes in a gentle and compassionate approach to dental care, ensuring that each patient feels comfortable and informed during their visit.
Her goal is to educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene and to provide personalized care tailored to their unique needs. Outside the office, Shaki loves trying new recipes, especially healthy baking, spending time in her vegetable garden, and connecting with family and friends.

We are open two evenings per week and on select Saturdays, providing a convenient solution for your busy schedule. We also give you the option of booking appointments and receiving reminders by phone, email or text.
